About

Living in Cape Town

SuitCase Cally has lived in England, Zambia, South Africa, Iran, and Australia. She’s worked on global projects in South Africa, USA, Australia, Europe, India and in the UK.

At the age of eight months SuitCase Cally went to live in Zambia with her dad’s work prompting the move leaving behind England. Her parents wanted to follow their own dreams as newly weds.

Moving around the world as a child gave her a head start to experience many cultures that has developed into a passion for travel and exploring new places locally and abroad.

Every opportunity to book a holiday around the world and SuitCase Cally is on it. Half the joy is dreaming and planning the next adventure.

She has a passion for people, and experiencing life and other cultures that makes every day life colourful and interesting.

Upon graduating in economics and law she worked for global private and wholesale investment banks in Johannesburg and London.  Her passion for training, development and people leadership prompted her to leave the forex, derivatives and treasury trading world after working and living in India, and change her vocation.  During her transition she retrained, became a Nia teacher, and an Addictions Counsellor in Cape Town. She worked and completed her internship at an internationally renowned private addiction clinic in Cape Town supporting clients from all over the world to recover and get well.

Her philosophy is to live a life in balance, as we are our own expert in our lives.  She has a continued interest in mind and body health and continues to learn and grow herself.

Her interests include travelling, painting, nature, music, writing, sailing, beaches, friends, having fun, and drinking cappuccinos in funky coffee shops.
